New Theme

Looking for Faith has a new theme! It’s quite a change from the previous two themes. I decided to make the change for two reasons. One, it’s nearly springtime, so it’s time to set the autumn-based theme aside. Two, I’ve been wanting to share some YouTube videos, and the old theme was not handling them well.

So, to kick off the video sharing…Below is “Leaving Religion at the Door,” a short documentary that examines whether and how religion should influence American politics. It features interviews with representatives of many different faith traditions (although sadly no UU’s), covering a range of viewpoints in a mere six minutes. Made by two high-school students, Scott Mitchell and Nick Poss, “Leaving Religion at the Door” won C-Span’s StudentCam 2008 documentary contest. (Hat tip to Blogging Faith).
